The Chilean U-17 national soccer team is a selection team of Chilean soccer players . It is subject to the Federación de Fútbol de Chile and represents it internationally at U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at U-17 South American Championships and U-17 World Championships .
The team has qualified for four world championships so far. In 1993 she lost in the semifinals to Ghana and won the subsequent game for third place on penalties against Poland . In 1997 she was eliminated in the preliminary round behind Germany and hosts Egypt .
At the South American Championships in 1993 , she finished second behind hosts Colombia . In 1997 she took third place, 1985 fourth place.
