The 1995 U-17 South American Football Championship took place in Peru .
The matches to determine the tournament winner were held in the cities of Lima and Trujillo . The game was played in two groups of five or four teams, followed by a final phase with four teams, also in group mode. The national teams of Argentina , Bolivia , Brazil , Chile , Colombia , Paraguay , Peru , Uruguay and Venezuela took part in the tournament. From the event, the U-17 of Brazil emerged as the winner. Places two to four went to the national teams from Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. The top scorer was the Brazilian Marco Antonio with ten goals in front of the Chilean Iván Campos (seven goals).
Brazil and Argentina, as the two top-ranked national teams after the tournament, qualified for the 1995 U-17 World Cup in Ecuador .
