The Gadebusch grammar school in Gadebusch is a public grammar school sponsored by the district of Northwest Mecklenburg . Around 600 students are taught in grades 7 to 12.
In 2005, the grammar school was ranked 45th among the top 100 schools in a ranking by the business magazine Capital .
From November 2009 to September 2010 the school took part in the Sino-German environmental project Thinking about the future . Among other things there is a theater group. It includes students from 7th to 11th grade and is run in collaboration with students and teachers.
