particularities

The commitment of the pupils and the achievements are documented in the “Qualipass”, an individual portfolio of all activities beyond the classroom, and issued as a certificate.

Science fair

Since 2014, the grammar school in the PAMINA school center in Herxheim has been the first school in Rhineland-Palatinate to host an in-school science fair, which takes place under the patronage of the physical chemist Michael Buback . This begins with the registration phase, in which individual information events and a science fair excursion day take place. As soon as the students have registered with a project, the work phase begins, which lasts until the end of the school year. The highlight of the Science Fair year is the science festival at the end of the school year at the University of Landau, where the projects are presented to the public and an expert jury. The juries determine the best projects and award them. The prizes are awarded in the categories Human & Society and Nature & Technology for the upper and intermediate level. The motto of the Science Fair 2016 is " Digital World ".
