Gymnocalycium eytianum is a species of plant in the genus Gymnocalycium from the cactus family(Cactaceae).
description
Gymnocalycium eytianum grows individually with blue-green, often brownish-tinted, depressed spherical shoots that reach heights of 10 to 15 centimeters with a diameter of 20 to 30 centimeters. The approximately 18 ribs are up to 1 centimeter high and rounded and humped. The four to five spread, awl, brownish white thorns have a length of 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters.
The white flowers are 4 to 4.5 inches long.
Distribution and systematics
Gymnocalycium eytianum is widespread in the Bolivian Department of Santa Cruz .
It was first described in 1958 by Martín Cárdenas . The species is not well known.
