Gyro Drop is a model of a ride in the free fall tower category that is built by various manufacturers.
function
After the passengers have taken their seats and the shoulder bars are closed, the gondola that surrounds the tower is pulled up with a cable. It rotates slowly around the tower. Once at the top, the gondola is disengaged and now falls down the tower. Depending on the height of the tower, there are eddy current brakes from the ground up to a certain height . The counterpart to this brake is on the nacelle. As soon as the gondola slides past this, it is braked.
Variations
The manufacturer offers this type in different heights and with different seating positions. In addition to the classic sitting position, there are also variants with a bottomless and tilting position.
