Gzuz is the self-titled third studio album by the German rapper Gzuz . It was released on February 14, 2020 via the labels 187 Strassenbande and Universal Music as a standard edition and limited box set .

The album was produced entirely by the German music producer duo The Cratez . They were assisted by DeeVoe in the production of four songs, while The Royals were involved in two songs.
Cover design
The album cover shows Gzuz, who is dressed in black and looks at the viewer with a grim look. He is at a birthday party and is surrounded by a birthday cake, a burning Happy Birthday garland and a red balloon with the lettering 187 on it. In the upper part of the cover is the red lettering 187 Strassenbande presented , while the title Gzuz is in red in the picture below. The background is kept dark.
Guest Posts
In addition to Gzuz, other artists appear on only four songs on the album. So of the 187 street gang rapper's Bonez MC on the songs verkackt and Criminal involved, and on the latter also the singer Gallo Nero is heard. A collaboration with rapper RAF Camora has been paid off , while 187 Strassenbande member Sa4 has a guest appearance on the title Capsules .

Gzuz entered the German album charts at number 1 on February 21, 2020 and was in the top 100 for 24 weeks. In Austria the album reached the top position on February 28, 2020 and number 2 in Switzerland on February 23, 2020.
On December 24, 2019, the song Vor der Tür was released as the first single on the album, which reached number 4 in the German charts and number 3 in the Austrian charts. The second release, Donuts , was released on January 24, 2020 and was ranked 3rd in the German single charts. In Austria the song rose to the top position and in Switzerland to number 3. In addition, after the album was released, the song Verkackt was in 7th position in Germany and Austria.

The rapper shows "with his third solo album again both the strengths and the often criticized aspects of the 187 universe," whereby "the attacks on the philistine at Gzuz seemed relatively credible". Overall, the rapper continues to maintain "his anti-stance" on a "combination of backyard productions and animal rap."
