Häuslingstiefe was an iron ore mine near Siegen in Siegerland . The pit was on Häusling , a mountain in the center of Siegen.
Aisle means
Gang means were Junge Kesselgrube , Häuslingstiefe , Gähbras , Schleifmühlchen , Horse , Black Beard , Benedictus , Langgrube , Upper Iron Gang , Mourning Trades Gang and Golden Fleece . The corridor length was a total of 400 m, its thickness mostly varied between 0.5 and 1 m and was up to 2 m thick.
history
The pit was first mentioned in 1553. According to one report, it had been supplying high-quality brown iron stone for many years. The Gähbraser Stollen and the Bechers Erbstollen existed as galleries . Civil engineering began in 1877. The shaft that was created was 4.5 × 3.2 m in size and led down to a depth of 460 m. It was backfilled after the pit was closed. In 1925 the company was closed. Spat- und Brauneisenstein, which last had 40 staff members , were sponsored . In 1885 2,240 tons of spate iron stone and 8 tons of copper ore were mined, a total of 61,000 tons of iron ore were mined.
In the 1920s and 1930s there were numerous daybreak in the area of the mine, in 1938 a boy fell into a 100 m deep crevice.

In 1881 there was a consolidation from various pits. The most important mine was grinding mill .

- Schleifmühlchen in Siegen ( at Schleifmühlchen ), was driven on again in 1818, Bechers Erbstolln was created , later the pit served as a practice pit for the Siegen mountain school .
In addition, the Beienbacher Grube Schnellenberg belonged to Häuslingstiefe since 1899 .
