Héctor Eugene Méndez (born August 1, 1897 - December 13, 1977 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine boxer. He took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris .
At the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, he lost the welterweight final against Jean Delarge from Belgium . At the opening ceremony of the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , he was the Argentine flag bearer. But he did not take an active part in the boxing tournament.

- 2nd round: Victory over Andreas Petersen ( Denmark )
- Quarter-finals: victory over Al Melio ( USA )
