Hír Televízió ( German News TV ) is a conservative news channel from Budapest . In addition to the hourly news, political and cultural magazines are also broadcast. The private broadcaster played a major role in exposing many affairs involving socialist politicians . In addition to the state radio ( m1 , m2 , Duna TV , Duna World ) and Echo TV, the station is a government-related television station in Hungary . The television station cooperates with the government- affiliated daily, Magyar Nemzet and the Lánchíd-Rádió .
When the State Broadcasting Corporation (MTV) was stormed in October 2006, Hír TV was the only broadcaster that reported live and that was broadcast by CNN , BBC and other broadcasters.
The news channel can only be received via the Astra 1KR , Intelsat 10-02 and Amos 2 satellites via the pay TV packages from UPC Direct , RCS DigiTV and Boom , although a live stream is made available on the broadcaster's homepage.
