m1 (originally MTV1 ) is a TV station of the Hungarian public broadcaster Magyar Televízió . The program consists mainly of films, series and sports. However, documentaries and business programs are also broadcast.

The station is broadcast nationwide (analogue and digital) nationwide and is available via the satellites Thor 6 , Intelsat 10-02 and Amos 3 in the pay-TV packages from UPC Direct , RCS DigiTV and T-Home . Audience ratings have, however, been falling since the liberalization of the television market and are currently 10 percent of the market.

m1 regularly broadcasts magazines for Hungary's minorities , some with Hungarian subtitles . This includes the German-language program Our Screen (Tuesdays), Srpski ekran in Serbian , Domovina in Slovak , Slovenski utrinki in Slovenian , Ecranul Nostru in Romanian , Hrvatska kronika in Croatian , Roma Fórum and Roma Magazin in Romani and Rondó in Greek .
