The Hôtel de Mézières in Eaubonne , a commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the French region of Île-de-France , was built around 1762. The Hôtel particulier on the Cours Albert-Ier has been on the list of cultural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1976 .
history
The Hôtel particulier (mansion) was built for the landlord of Eaubonne, Joseph-Florent Le Normand de Mézières, who had several folies (country houses) built under the Ancien Régime . It is believed that the architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1736–1806) designed the plans for the Hôtel de Mézières.
