Hotel de Ville in Égly

The Hôtel de Ville (German town hall) in Égly , a French city in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the first half of the 19th century. The town hall on Grande Rue was originally built as a residence for Jean Benoît Lemoyne de Gatigny, who was intendant général of the Duke of Bourbon and mayor (from 1813 to 1816 and from 1826 to 1828) of Égly.

The two-storey building with a park was bought by the community and inaugurated as the town hall on October 11, 1975.

The arched portal is framed by pilasters and the central axis is crowned by a triangular gable.
