Wissous town hall
The town hall (French Mairie ) in Wissous , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1935. The town hall on Rue de la Division-Leclerc replaced a previous building that had become too small for the ever-growing community.
The three-storey building made of quarry stone has a central risaliten , which is closed by a triangular gable with a clock. The portal , framed by two columns , which can be reached via a six-step staircase, is also crowned by a triangular gable.
