The Hôtel du Petit Louvre in Troyes , the administrative seat of the Aube department in the Grand Est region , was built around 1550. The Hôtel particulier at No. 2 Rue de la Montée-Saint-Pierre (at the intersection of Rue Linard Gonthier, Rue Boucherat and Rue de la Montée Saint-Pierre) has been classified as a Monument historique since 1986 .

The building, partly constructed as a half-timbered house in the Renaissance style , was named after the Louvre , the royal palace in Paris . The building integrates a tower of the city ​​fortifications from the 13th century.
