Höhenstetten is a village with about 24 inhabitants in the Traunstein district (Upper Bavaria). It is part of the Palling municipality .

The village is located on a small hill and belongs to the self-proclaimed "Oberholz", a village community of the neighboring towns of Thalham , Volkrading and Barmbichl . There are currently two farms and two commercial operations in the village itself. There is a chapel to visit in front of the town sign. Höhenstetten is located southwest of the main town Palling.
