Higher educational institute for environment and economy Yspertal
The Higher Education Institute for Environment and Economy Yspertal is a vocational higher school of the Cistercian monastery Zwettl in Altenmarkt in the market town of Yspertal in the Melk district in Lower Austria .
history
The school was founded around 1990 with the fields of environment and economics - in this combination unique in Austria. Around 2010 a second training course with water management was started. The school also has a small research center and analyzes drinking water, sewage, mud, soil and air.
School partnerships
The school has partnerships with three schools, with the Tokaji Ferenc High School, a secondary school for pedagogy, environmental protection and environmental economics in Tokaj in Hungary , with the Szybiński High School in Cieszyn in Poland and with the Technical School for Environmental Protection and Environmental Education in Veselí nad Lužnicí in the Czech Republic .
