The Høyangertunnel is a single-tube road tunnel between Høyanger and Bolstad in the municipality of Høyanger in the Norwegian province ( Fylke ) Vestland on the north side of the Sognefjord .
The tunnel along Riksvei 55 is 7543 meters long. It replaced the ferry connection Kongsnes / Nordeide and thus enables the year-round connection of the inner Sognefjord with the wider region.
