The east-west-oriented, trapezoidal barren bed of Plestlin , municipality of Bentzin in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , discovered in 2012, is about 25.0 m long and about seven meters wide in the east and about four meters in the west . The megalithic complex was built between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC as a large stone grave of the funnel cup culture (TBK). It has no Sprockhoff number.

The plan of the megalithic bed is marked by the preserved, but often outwardly tilted, border stones. In profile, the mound increases significantly from west to east. A deepening in the eastern part suggests a (destroyed) chamber of an unknown type. A granite boulder on the surface of the hill about 1.5 m long, which has several pecked bowls , fits this . Cup stones are known from many megalithic sites . Otherwise, the facility that has not been examined in more detail seems to have largely been preserved. However, there are three chamberless giant beds in the village , which indicate the easternmost distribution of the type in Germany. The system could therefore also belong to this group.

Trapezoidal giant beds represent a variant of the borders (D-shaped, triangular, rectangular, round) from between 3500 and 2800 BC. Megalithic buildings erected by the TBK in the 4th century BC. The trapezoid is an often observed basic form, especially for the facilities in Western Pomerania. The contour of the mound rising towards the broad side can be observed more often in the eastern distribution areas of the TBK.

In the area around the newly discovered large stone grave, in the Altplestlin Forest, megalithic systems have long been known. At a distance of 3.5 km in the districts of Alt-Plestlin, Sophienhof and Zemmin there are nine systems that are located along the so-called Kukucksgraben, an ice age meltwater channel . In some cases they are in pairs. It is doubtful whether this distribution picture is representative of the former occurrence. Because while the preserved graves were sheltered by the forest, the far greater numbers of the forest-free corridors are likely to have fallen victim to destruction.

The Teufelsstein is located about one kilometer northeast of Neu Plestlin. It is located south of the Peene Valley at the beginning of an erosion valley.
