Building Hürbener Strasse 32 in Hürben

The building at Hürbener Strasse 32 , the so-called Rixner House, in Hürben , a district of the city of Krumbach in the Swabian district of Günzburg in Bavaria , was built in the third quarter of the 19th century. The former residential and commercial building is a protected architectural monument .

The three-storey saddle roof building with four to five window axes was built for a Jewish family. Due to the three storeys and the steep pitched roof, the house towers over most of the houses in Hürben and is therefore one of the defining buildings of the former village center.

The house is structured on the gable side in the basement by a groove rustika and in the two upper floors by pilasters . Broad plastered cornices create the horizontal structure. During the renovation in the 1990s, the historical floor plan was retained, e.g. B. the two arched entrance gates to the former coach house and the living rooms on the upper floors around the central hall .

During an examination of the interior, numerous stencil paintings with Art Nouveau motifs (around 1900) were discovered.
