HAT-P-6b is an exoplanet that orbits the main sequence star HAT-P-6 every 3.853 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was discovered by the HATNet Project using the transit method in 2007 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.05325 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 336 earth masses or 1.057 Jupiter masses.
