The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Stéphane Udry et al. discovered in 1999 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.0482 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 3.4% and has a mass of approx. 148.5 Earth masses or 0.467 Jupiter masses.
