HD 89307 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 89307 every 2900 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
The planet was captured using the radial velocity method by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2004 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 3.95 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 27% and has a mass of approx. 829.7 earth masses or 2.61 Jupiter masses.
