The Al Burayqah Airport ( english : Marsa Brega Airport ) is the airport of Brega (Al Burayqah) in Libya . The airport is about 3 km south of Brega. The airport area is located directly on the highway to Ajdabiya .

history

During the uprising in Libya , the airport was in the hands of opposition forces, but it was reportedly retaken by government forces on March 2, 2011.
