Hoga
The Hoga ( proper spelling HOGA ) is a trade fair for the hotel, catering and communal catering, which takes place every two years (in the uneven years) in Nuremberg .
The fair is sponsored by the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association and was held for the first time in 1950.
The Hoga has a more regional character. Almost all Bavarian organizations in the industry have their own stands at the fair.
The main audience is, on the one hand, entrepreneurs and managing directors of small and medium-sized companies in the catering industry who find out about technical and product innovations, on the other hand, service staff, cooks and trainees who explore the possibilities of their professional field.
The competitions of the Bavarian vocational schools in the hospitality professions take place annually at the HOGA. The Bavarian youth champions of cooks , hotel specialists , restaurant specialists , pastry chefs and bakers are determined .
