Horizont3000 is an Austrian non-governmental organization in development cooperation and was founded in 2001.

Tasks and guiding principle

The organization specializes in the following areas:

  • Support and implementation of projects and programs in partner countries in the South and East
  • Personnel deployment in partner countries in the south
  • Education and public relations work , advocacy and lobbying at the Austrian and European level
  • Services in the field of educational advice, organizational development, further training, consulting
  • Networking and shaping development policy on a national and international level

The main idea of ​​the organization is:

"All people have the right to just, humane living conditions and to self-determination, regardless of cultural origin, gender or religion."

The organization focuses its work on the most disadvantaged people in the south. Through constructive dialogue between the partners involved in the organization, approaches to solving the problems of the target groups are sought and implemented in defined projects and programs.
