HpH 304 is a series of gliders from the Czech glider manufacturer HpH Sailplanes , which are derived from the glass wing 304 glider .
Versions
304CZ (-17)
After taking over the 304 molds from the bankruptcy estate of Glasflügel Segelflugzeugbau , the popular racing class aircraft with a wingspan of 15 meters was continued to be built largely unchanged from 1998.
Since 2000, the 304CZ has been offered optionally with attachable 15 m winglets and with clip-on wings with a 17.43 meter span as the 304CZ-17.
304C Wasp
A variant of the 304CZ without flaps for the FAI - standard class . The wings with winglets have 15 meter wingspan and are equipped with Schempp-Hirth - air brakes instead of the trailing edge rotary brakes of CZ equipped. In the program since 2001.
304S Shark
Completely redesigned aircraft built since 2006. Optimized for the FAI - 18 m class . Optionally available with TBS 400N jet engine as homecoming aid (304 SJ) or with Binder Solo 2625-01 motorization as self-starter (304 MS) and as Shark 304ES with FES (Front Electric Sustainer).
The HpH 304S Shark has flaperons as standard , water tanks to hold water ballast (180 liters), three-tier Schempp-Hirth air brake flaps and an elliptical design of the wing tips and the horizontal stabilizer (to reduce drag). In addition, automatic connections of the control organs, the contagious ends (wing), the water tanks and the flaperon are used.
