The HQ-64 ( Chinese  紅旗 -64  /  红旗 -64 , Pinyin Hóng Qí-64 , in German: Rote Fahne -64 , other names: LY-60 , FD-60 ) is a short / medium-haul system developed in the People's Republic of China - Anti-aircraft missile system with solid propulsion and radar-based target acquisition. The system is used to defend against combat aircraft , attack helicopters and cruise missiles and was developed in the 1990s. Technologically, this system is based on the Italian Aspide missiles, which were exported to the PRC in the 1980s, before the Tian'anmen massacre .
