The HZVV (full name: Hoogeveense Zaterdags Voetbal Vereniging , German  Hoogeveener Saturday football club) is a football club from the Dutch Hoogeveen . It emerged in 1940 from OLVO (Olympia Voetbal), the outsourced football division of Christelijke Gymnastiek Vereniging Olympia (Christian gymnastics club Olympia). The Christian origin of the club is also the reason why the club only provides teams in the field of Saturday amateurs. Since 2013, the club plays in the fünftklassigen Belgium League D . In the 1994/95 season, the club took part in the KNVB Cup , but failed (at the time as a group stage) first round at the Frisian professional clubs SC Heerenveen and SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden . Only against the amateur club DOS Kampen could be won. The women's team of the HZVV played from 2006 to 2010 in the Hoofdklasse , which was the highest league in Dutch women's football until 2007 and then the highest amateur league. The most famous ex-player of the HZVV is Vivianne Miedema , who now plays for FC Bayern Munich.
