Hachtel is a residential area in the Niederstetten district of Wildentierbach in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

history

The place was first mentioned in documents as Habichtal in 1317 and 1322 . Hachtel was once part of the Brauneck rule and came to Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1379 via interim ownership in Würzburg .

The living space came to the city of Niederstetten on February 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent community of Wildentierbach.
