Hadji Muhtamad is a municipality in the Province of Basilan, Philippines .
Hadji Muhtamad Township was established through the passage of the Muslim Mindanao Act No. 200 , which was ratified in a referendum on August 25, 2007. The borough consists of ten barangays that were previously part of the borough of Lantawan .
