The port of Wangerooge is the seaport of the North Sea island of Wangerooge .

The port has been in operation since 1897. After the east pier was closed in 1958, the port is the only landing stage for ships.

The port of Wangerooge consists of a long quay wall and a ramp. All around the harbor is protected with groynes. The rails of the Wangerooge island railway run directly on the quay , with which passengers and freight get to the island village. A DGzRS rescue boat is stationed in the port of Wangerooge .

The harbor basin is 3.3 meters below sea ​​level .

Marina

In addition to the main harbor basin, there is another one in which N-Ports provides two floating jetties for pleasure craft. The jetties are leased to the Wangerooger Yacht Club, which uses the western jetty for its club members and makes the eastern jetty available for guests. The marina does not run dry .
