Hafenstrasse 16, Silo III (Stralsund)
The building with the postal address Hafenstraße 16 is a listed building in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund in Hafenstraße on the corner of Holzstraße . The building called Silo III belongs to the ensemble of granaries on the harbor island and thus shapes the silhouette of the city.
The eight-storey , plastered skeleton structure with a mansard roof hunched on the narrow sides was built between 1912 and 1914.
The facade of the store has a continuous pilaster structure .
The house is located on the outskirts of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 847.
