description

The Hageböllinger Kopf is one of a chain of several elevations south of the Ennepe in the Gevelsberg city forest and naturally belongs to the Hesterthardt ridge (ordinal number 336 1 .11) within the Hagener Randhöhen (336 1 .1). Its neighboring elevations are the Mühler Kopf , the Brahmskopf , the Poeter Kopf and the Bredder Kopf . The mountain is named after the Hagebölling residential area at its foot.

The elevation drops more than 150 meters to the north towards the valley of the Ennepe. The traffic routes Bundesstrasse 7 and the Elberfeld – Dortmund railway line also run at the foot of the elevation . To the south, however, the elevation runs largely flat onto the plateau north of the Ennepetal district of Voerde . The village of Jellinghausen is the only settlement on the elevation.

The eastern side valley is formed by the Kirchwinkelbach , in which both the forester's house in Kirchwinkel and the residential area in Kirchwinkel are located. It separates the Hageböllinger head from the Brahms head. To the west, the Hundseicker Bach valley separates the Hageböllinger Kopf from the Mühler Kopf. The elevation is used for hiking and is crossed by several hiking trails, including the Wappenweg .
