Hagelkreuzstraße is located in the northern urban expansion area in an exposed residential area between the New Water Tower and the Colorful Garden .
architecture
A two-and-a-half-storey plastered building with a loft stands above the high basement base . Horizontally structured by basement, floor and eaves cornices . Asymmetrical facade design with emphasis on the left half of the house by means of a bay window and curved gable ; Edged on both sides by a pilaster strip across each floor . In the case of an unequal axis formation, different floor-by-floor window designs: on the ground floor to the left of the round-arched house entrance crowned with an oval ox-eye three arched windows; the two of the left half of the facade are linked together by plaster framing.
The wall surface of the upper floor is opened on the right by two tall rectangular windows with a keystone ; narrow in korbbogig arched bay five through brick fighters horizontally structured window openings. A single rectangular window in the pediment. The surface of the gable roof breaks through a round arched dormer . The flat stucco ornamentation with finely modeled decorative elements (festoons, medallions, vase) is based on an Art Nouveau style influenced by the forms of the Louis XVI style .
