Hagen Jakubaschk (born April 14, 1934 , † February 1, 2005 in Witten ) was a German specialist writer .

Life

Hagen Jakubaschk trained as a radio mechanic and devoted himself to the field of electronics and communications technology . He shaped the amateur electronics scene in the GDR from the 1960s to the 1980s. From 1959 to 1990 Hagen Jakubaschk published 12 books, more than 30 brochures and countless articles in various journals. He wrote for the magazines Funkamateur , Jugend und Technik and Radio Fernsehen Elektronik . Some of his books had the character of textbooks , but were also characterized by unconventional ideas and circuits. He wrote for children who were just starting out with electronics, but also for advanced amateurs. With up to 6 editions, his books reached a wide audience, primarily in the GDR. Hagen Jakubaschk lived and worked for a long time in Nahmitz in Brandenburg. He settled before the fall of the wall in the FRG over. He then tested electronic parts and kits for Westfalia and Conrad Electronic. His last two books were published by Heise (electrical construction book) and Franzis-Verlag (electronic code locks and alarm systems).
