Haide Tenner

Haide Tenner (born October 19, 1947 in Vienna ) is a music journalist and program director of the ORF , who also took over the management of the ORF orchestra RSO from 2003 to 2007 .

Career

Haide Tenner is the daughter of the conductor Kurt Tenner . After graduating from high school, Tenner studied musicology , theater studies and art history at the University of Vienna , where she received her doctorate in 1971. In addition, she completed vocal training and piano studies.

From 1972 Tenner worked as an employee at ORF. She designed a music program on the radio, after which she switched to the entertainment department of television. In 1980 she was entrusted with setting up ORF self-promotion. From 1983 to 1994, Tenner's close-up series was designed and presented. In 1984 she became head of the film and series department . From 1995 she took over the management of the music, theater and cineastics department in the main culture department . Tenner became the main department head of television culture in 1999. From 2003 Tenner worked as head of the music department of Austria 1 and at the same time coordinated the entire range of classical music in all areas of the ORF.

Tenner is also Vice President of the International Music Center (IMZ).
