Haim Michael Revivo (born February 22, 1972 in Ashdod ) is a former Israeli soccer player .

Player career

Revivo started his professional football career in Israel with Maccabi Haifa, among others . But he did not play long in Israel, as his talent was recognized early on by the Spanish club Celta Vigo .

At Celta, Revivo quickly rose to become the team's most important player and captain. In the national team , too , he increasingly developed into a key player in the storm. Probably the greatest victory he could achieve with the national team was the 5-0 victory over Austria , to which Revivo contributed a free-kick goal. Revivo played with Israeli greats like Eyal Berkovic , Alon Mizrahi , Yossi Benayoun and Tal Banin .

When he left Celta Vigo, he moved to the Turkish club Fenerbahçe Istanbul , where he was named the best player in the league in 2002. With the move to Galatasaray Istanbul , he not only made friends, because he did not bring the performance he expected at his new club, although he scored three times in his first championship game at his new club against Bursaspor.

In the 2004/05 season he moved back to Israel for various reasons. He justified the change by saying that he wanted to see his children grow up in Israel. When FC Ashdod , where he is also part owner, finished Revivo his successful career. He currently lives in Israel with his family.

Today Revivo is still considered one of the best Israeli footballers of all time.
