Haimo George
Haimo George (born August 9, 1933 in Oldeani , Tanzania ; † October 5, 1985 in Königswinter ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).
Life and work
After schooling George holds a degree in law, he awarded the degree of Dr. jur. finished. On the evening of October 5, 1985, he died of a heart attack in his private apartment .
Political party
George joined the CDU, was first deputy federal manager from 1968 to 1970 and then from 1970 to 1976 federal manager of the Economic Council of the CDU .
MP
George was a member of the German Bundestag from 1976 until his death. He represented the Calw constituency in parliament . From 1982 to 1985 he was chairman of the labor and social work group of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .
