Hajrudin Catic (born March 23, 1975 in Cologne ) is a Bosnian soccer player who was under contract with various clubs in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1995 to 2010 .
Career
From the youth of 1. FC Köln Catic came to local rivals SC Fortuna , for whom he played 56 times in the 2. Bundesliga from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002 he was under contract with SV Waldhof Mannheim , with whom he narrowly missed promotion to the Bundesliga in 2001 . From 2002 he worked for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the second division for two seasons before moving to 1. FC Union Berlin in the Regionalliga Nord for one season . After the descent of the capital city club, Catic joined the third-class SV Wehen Wiesbaden in August 2005 . In 2007, Wiesbaden was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time and Catic came to another 30 second division appearances in the following two years. With 177 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (14 goals) he was the most experienced player in the ranks of the Hessians.
After the relegation of the SVW, he was only used for the 2nd team in the Regionalliga Süd in the 2009/10 season and ended his professional career in the summer of 2010 when he switched to the national division Hilal Maroc Bergheim . With the Bergheimers he was promoted to the Middle Rhine League in 2012 . In 2014 he was relegated from the Mittelrheinliga back to the Landesliga Mittelrhein . Catic stayed with Hilal Maroc Bergheim the following season. After 5 years, he left the club in 2015.
After that, Catic played at CfB Ford Köln-Niehl 09/52 in 2015 and played 2 games in the district league A.
He has currently been the player-coach at the A division club SV Türkspor Bergheim since 2016.
