Hal Borland
Harold Glen "Hal" Borland (born May 14, 1900 in Sterling , Nebraska , † February 22, 1978 in Sharon , Connecticut ) was an American writer .
Hal Borland wrote for the New York Times between 1937 and 1943 , then freelance until 1960. The best-known work of his many publications is the novel When the Legends Die (1963), which was also made into a film in 1972.
