Halldóra Mogensen

Halldóra Mogensen (born July 11, 1979 in Reykjavík ) is a politician of the Icelandic pirate party Píratar , as its chairwoman for the period 2017-2018.

Halldóra studied fashion design at the Scuola Lorenzo de 'Medici in Florence and at the Art Academy of Iceland . She then worked in the Icelandic tourism industry.

In the parliamentary elections on October 29, 2016 , Halldóra Mogensen was elected as the Píratar candidate for the constituency of Reykjavík-Nord in the Icelandic parliament Althing . As of October 2018, she is chair of the parliamentary committee on welfare. In 2017 she was Vice-Chair of the Icelandic Delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union . She was chairwoman of the Píratar for the period 2017-18.

Halldóra Mogensen is in favor of an unconditional basic income .
