Hamad Abbas Janahi also Hamoud Abbas (born August 4, 1990 in Dubai ) is a former tennis player from the United Arab Emirates .

Career

Hamad Abbas Janahi mainly played on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour .

He made his first appearance on the World Tour level in doubles with his partner Mahmoud-Nader Al Baloushi at the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships in February 2008. There they lost their first round game clearly against Martin Damm and Pavel Vízner with 2: 6 and 2 : 6. In 2013 and 2014 Janahi lost his opening games with Omar Awadhy and was eliminated. In February 2015 Janahi gave a positive doping test in Dubai . He was banned from the ITF for two years.

Hamad Abbas Janahi played for the United Arab Emirates' Davis Cup team from 2006 . For this he competed in 42 encounters, with a balance of 18:13 in singles and 12:15 in doubles.
