Mahmoud-Nader Al Baloushi (born June 30, 1980 in al-Ain ) is a former tennis player from the United Arab Emirates .

Career

Mahmoud-Nader Al Baloushi made his debut on the ATP Tour in Dubai in 2008 . For the individual field, he received a wildcard and played in the first round against the qualifier Michail Ledowskich . He clearly lost this duel with 1: 6, 1: 6. He also competed in doubles - together with Hamad Abbas Janahi - but also lost his opening match against the later finalists Martin Damm and Pavel Vízner . In 2009 , 2010 and 2011 he was eliminated in the first qualifying round for the tournament in Dubai. In doubles he received a wildcard for the main draw in 2009 and 2010, but failed in the first round in both years. He has not played a professional match since 2011. Apart from the tournaments listed, the Emirati only played one other tournament in his active time, a future in Dubai; that too was clearly lost. He couldn't win a set at any tournament and was never placed in the tennis world rankings.

Al Baloushi played for the United Arab Emirates Davis Cup team from 1997 to 2016 . He has an overall record of 40:54, making him the second most successful player in his country after Omar Awadhy .
