Hamada Madi , called "Boléro" (* 1965 in Mohéli ), is a Comorian politician, former prime minister and interim president .

Life

Madi graduated in Constitutional Law in Ukraine and worked as a political advisor before becoming Secretary General of the Republican Party of Comoros.

Before he was elected Prime Minister on November 29, 2000, he was Secretary General for Defense and played a key role in the peace negotiations with Anjouan . In January 2002 he replaced Colonel Azali Assoumani as interim president of the Comoros. Because of his origins, he was not allowed to run for the 2002 presidential election. After Assoumani came back to power in May 2002, Madi was appointed special advisor. In April 2007, he was given permission to leave the country.

Madi is currently living in exile in Paris.
