Ayari started in the youth of Grenoble Foot . In the 2009/10 season he was in the professional squad, which was then in Ligue 1 , the top division of France. However, he was denied a mission and Grenoble rose to the second division at the end of the season. He made his professional debut on September 10, 2010, when he came on as a substitute for Yohann Lasimant in stoppage time on matchday six, in a 1-0 win against FC Istres . In the following years he came to 17 other missions. Grenoble Foot was relegated at the end of the season. For the 2011/12 season Hamadi Ayari moved to FC Metz . After he was also relegated with the Lorraine, his contract was not renewed; then the player returned to his ex-club Grenoble, which had meanwhile been relegated to the fourth division.
