Hamdallah Mustaufi
Hamdallah Mustaufi ( Persian حمدالله مستوفی, DMG Ḥamdallāh Mustaufī ; * around 1281 in Qazvin , Persia ; † around 1344 ) was an Iranian historian and geographer at the time of the Ilkhan .
Works
His works include the Tarich-i guzida from around 1330 (تاريخ گزيده, Taʾrīḫ-i guzīda , 'Selected story') the Zafar-Nama (ظفرنامه, Ẓafar-nāma , ' Book of Victory ') from 1334 and the Nuzhat al-qulub (نزهه القلوب, Nuzhat al-qulūb , ' Amusement of the Heart').
mausoleum
Mausaufi's mausoleum is in his hometown Qazvin. The Turkish-style, tapered, blue dome and the calligraphic inscription inside, which describes Mustaufi's family origins and his works, distinguish the building among the around 2,000 historical buildings in Qazvin.
