HTI stands for trade for civil engineering and industrial technology . The HTI Group is a specialist wholesaler and supplies customers with products from the civil engineering and industry sectors and also offers services in this area.

history

HTI GmbH & Co. Handels KG was founded on July 1, 1994 to merge the civil engineering activities of the GC Group into a separate association. Initially, the owners were equally divided between the GC Group and WV AG. HTI has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the GC Group since 2000.

structure

Today the HTI consists of 12 regional partner companies under the individual management of personally liable partners and is networked with more than 60 logistic bases in Germany and Austria. Further locations of the HTI group are in Bulgaria, Poland and Romania. As regional specialist wholesalers, the individual houses act as full-range suppliers for civil engineering and industrial technology requirements. Customers are companies in the utility industry, civil engineering and pipeline construction companies as well as industrial companies.

The HTI Group currently employs around 1,600 people (including around 200 sales representatives) and is the top national employer from 2014 to 2019.

GC group

The HTI group is part of the GC group , an association of independent, medium-sized wholesalers. The GC Group includes around 100 companies and 800 locations in Germany as well as other companies in other European countries. The GC group is divided into main houses, each of which is managed by a PHG (personally liable partner). So each main house is independent. The GC-Group adheres strictly to the so-called three-stage distribution channel industry - wholesale - specialist trade. As a full-range supplier, the GC Group supplies all standard home technology products from the areas of sanitary, heating, air conditioning / ventilation, installation, electrical, tools and roof technology.

HTI founded the CO 2 initiative . The primary goal of this initiative is to network and exchange ideas with one another, with a focus on sustainable systems and solutions. There are currently around 100 partners represented.
