Hann or Hanu or Hanoo is a place in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh .
The place is located in Tehsil Khalatse in a valley about 160 km northwest of Leh and is inhabited by the Brokpa , a group of the Dard .
According to the 2011 census in India , 1207 people lived in Hann. The literacy rate was 40.18%.
