The landscape protection area around Frickenhausen, Linsenhofen and Tischardt (4 sub-areas) is a landscape protection area in the area of the Esslingen district in Baden-Württemberg that was designated by ordinance of the Esslingen District Office of March 2, 1982 .
location
The 356 hectare area consists of four parts and essentially comprises the orchards around the Frickenhausen suburbs of Tischardt and Linsenhofen and east of Frickenhausen. To the west of the Steinach , the valleys of Sallenbach, Lenghartbach and Krummbach are protected. The landscape protection area belongs to the nature area 101 - Middle Alb foreland within the main unit 10 - Swabian Keuper-Lias-Land .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the safeguarding and long-term maintenance of the ecologically valuable areas (floodplains, exposed slopes, orchards) in the area of the municipality of Frickenhausen and the function of these areas as recreational areas for the general public.
